Closed for all State Holidays, the day after Thanksgiving and December 24 through January 1.

 Building admittance is only available to those who take a guided tour. Visitors must remain with the tour guide during the entire tour (1 hour). The Capitol is not open for self-guided tours on Saturdays.
  Group Reservations   Parking

Group reservations may be made by calling (860) 240-0222 weekdays 9:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M., or by using the on-line request form under "Request a Tour". Student groups must be 3rd Grade or above; see Guidelines.

Limited free parking is available in the Legislative Office Building parking garage (Monday to Friday) and on the north Capitol grounds.

Contact Capitol Information and Tours

Capitol Information and Tours, operated by the League of Women Voters of Connecticut Education Fund, Inc., conducts tours of the Capitol and Legislative Office Building and provides general information on operations, procedures and people in state government.

Capitol Information and Tours is located at the west entrance, first floor of the Legislative Office Building and in Room 101, first floor in the State Capitol.
